Data and reproducibility

Methods and materials that allow findings to be assessed.

Policy version 1.0 · Effective date 2026-10-20

Data availability statement

State what data/code are available, where they are stored, their persistent links and reuse terms. Distinguish open repositories, justified restricted access, third-party restrictions and studies that generate no new data. For access on request, identify a contact and explain the restriction.

Privacy and methods

Open sharing must not breach consent, personal-data protection, safety or contractual restrictions. Use de-identification and minimum necessary access. Describe software versions, parameters, sampling criteria, statistical methods, units and limitations sufficiently for evaluation.

Provenance, code and retention

Verify citations, permissions and licenses for third-party data and software. Retain source data and analysis records under applicable institutional requirements; editors may request them for a justified inquiry. The platform does not claim to automatically provide external repository deposition or hosting for every supplement.

Official references
